# Throw-Yo Threads Back on Insta

It’s probably already past due, but Throw-Yo Threads will deactivate its Meta accounts sometime between Wednesday, Jan 22, and Friday, Jan 24.
That means the following will be going away:
- Throw-Yo Facebook Page
- Throw-Yo Instagram Account
- Throw-Yo Number 44 Facebook Page
- The Yoyo Archive Facebook Page
- The Yoyo Archive Instagram account
I’m currently in the process of figuring out where else to post content. For now, you can check out the [Throw-Yo Pixelfed account](https://pixelfed.social/i/web/profile/794922874972683607) (similar to Instagram, but federated)
I may end up on Reddit or Mastadon. Links if/when they’re available.
Of course, the best place to get Throw-Yo info is the [website](https://throw-yo.com), or here on the forums.

There’s barely any YoYo content on blue sky. I would follow whoever instantly with yoyo content. I built my instagram feed one brick at a time and it’s all and nothing but yoyo. I’m happy to do the same with blue sky when it’s a thing.

I would not (say again: **NOT** ) recommend Reddit. The main thrower’s sub is full of… Let’s say characters. I’m not sure I’d want them to bring their… Personalities, if you will, to this sub. In fact, I joined this forum to get away from their toxicity.

heck yoyo is the only reason I’m even on social media. way back when i was on fb very briefly. ppl i hadn’t spoken to in many years started coming out of the woodwork and it took me about a week to remember why i hadn’t spoken to them in so long…i didn’t really like them! also ppl posting about their daily mundane goings on just doesn’t interest me in the slightest. i know how that probably makes me sound like a total d bag, but i find my own life exciting and full enough, i don’t need to live vicariously. also the sharing meal pictures thing really got under my skin. i have a hard time thinking of something i care less about than what someone had for lunch or dinner 🤣
i dunno, i just find most of social media to be a complete self centered vanity fest and I’m just not with that. sharing dope skills and exchanging ideas with ppl i don’t have irl access to, now that i can (and did) make an exception for

I personally love seeing when people come in here super aggressive to start and the community hops in and is like “excuse me, this isn’t Reddit, you can leave if this is going to be your attitude” haha.

Not to hijack your thread @rkalajian , but I also decided to delete the Wildwood Meta accounts a few days ago. I didn’t announce it then, but thought I’d mention it in case it helps other makers feel like they can step away from platforms they no longer wish to be on.
