# Thinking About Painting a Yo-Yo

I’ve recently “Satined” my Clear Freehand One, and I was thinking of painting it as well! trouble is, sanding it has made it kind of foggy.
So, I thought maybe I could paint something that might be enhanced by this cloudy finish! so, I’m looking for suggestions. What Should I Paint on my Freehand One?

wouldnt dye work better by not making the surface as tacky as paint?

Maybe it would be wise to go simple or minimalist. How about some Lines in gaining thickness on 2/3 the circumference, or so.

I would suggest painting the entire yo-yo with Invisible ink.
That way, you can complete your yo-yo painting challenge and yet, if by chance you totally screw up the artwork, nobody will know…. Not even you.l\

I think that cross-hesh pattern kind of bites itself. I would decide for one or the other. In my opinion, lines across the Yoyo are more interesting, because they will change in rotation, while lines around it, will just look like a line no matter, if it spins or not.
You could also paint the cross-stripes in different colors and as it rotates the colors mix to a new one. That would be cool.

Why Not polish the ploycarbonate plastic to rejuvenate the clear?
Sand Buff Polish like a clear coat on a fresh paint job, car headlight restoration, or Titanium yoyo.
Yeah, paint it knowing that if you don’t like it, just wipe it out and reapply more paint as needed.
