I finally got some thin lube today. I was going to put it in a bearing that has been really loud lately. It didn’t help. Does it take a while for the thin lube to start working?

Lubing it doesn’t always make a bearing quieter unless you are using thick lube. Now thick lube will make it responsive so if you like it unresponsive don’t use that. Just deal with the noise. It doesn’t mean that something is wrong.
