The Word "Lol"

(Johnny T) #1

I see many people here in YoYoExpert using the the word “Lol”. I don’t really get what they mean. Are they seriously laughing out loud on every single thing they say. Maybe you should use a new word.

Try the word “Tol”. Thinking of Laughing.

I hope you guys will start to use this word more than "Lol.

Try watching up to 2:00.

Gee, where have I heard this before? Might be a youtube video. Naw… :stuck_out_tongue:

I don’t really see any problem with using the word “lol”.

I’ll keep using it.

(SR) #6

I will to. I don’t really care.

I seriously don’t see why you need to concern yourself with three letters that resemble a happy thing.

And lqtm is better.

lol, when I say lol, I dont mean laugh out loud, i just mean “Lol!” or something like “Laawwwll!!!”

I’m not gonna stop.

Lqtm? ¿Qué? (What?)

(JayVee) #10

lqtm means “Laughing quietly to myself”.

I think that a new definition for lol should be used. Instead of “Laughing out loud”, it should be “Lack of Laughter”.

I say lol, not Lol. Lol looks like a word that you pronounce like “lull.” And LOL looks like you’re laughing so hard you wet your pants. Like, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! lol is cool.

lol isn’t a word.

No, I said lol doesn’t look like a word, but Lol looks like a word. That you might pronounce “lull”

I lol’d because the word lol can be found in certain modern dictionaries.

I Will Survive, the LOL remix.

At first I was afraid, I was petrified.
Kept thinkin’ I could never live without you by my side;
But then I spent so many nights
Thinkin’ how you did me wrong
And I grew strong
I learned “Laugh my rear end off!”

But now you’re back, from cyber-space
I just walked in to find you here with that sad look upon your face
I should have changed that stupid caps-lock
I should have removed the shift key
If I’d’ve known for just one second you’d back to bother me
Go on now, go walk out the door
Just turn around now
('cause) you’re not welcome anymore
Weren’t you the one who tried to hurt me with goodbye
Did I crumble
Did you think I’d lay down and die?
Oh no, not I
I will survive

Okay, that was utterly stupid, but I had to.

Did you make that up? Lol it’s great.

Personally, I chose not to say “Lol” because I don’t feel the need to. I don’t have a problem with others saying it, though.
