I FINALLY landed reverse Brent stole !!! I’ve been getting it down consistently without missing the string and getting a knot which is very hard to do 😅 and more than half of all yo-yo tutorials are right handed players but I’m actually a lefty :wink: so it took some time but landed it !! ---

Spent a lot of time yesterday learning the wrist mount and exit yesterday. Finally got a hang of it today so thought I’d also give Cheese Whip a try and that wasn’t as difficult as I’d feared. Did have to use a longer string for that though. Doing cheese whip with a string bellybutton length prooved to be very difficult. Do you all play long strings? Started noticing that Ann Connelly (and most other throwers in the Yotricks app) play fairly long strings. ---

I use belly button length for 0A responsive play. For 1A, I make the loop at the base of my sternum. Not super long, but long enough. ---

Bellybutton for 0A, and I just use full length alphaline (about 51” according to their info) for unresponsive 1A. I use alphaline for all my yoyos and I cut off about 8” for belly button length lol ---

I finally got Bonesplint down this morning! This is one I’ve been meaning to learn for a while and just never put the time in. Feels good. I’ll post a video in a few months when I get the flow right 🤣 ---

You won’t have any trouble with Magic Trick - turns out to be a LOT easier than I had thought. I just go into the wrist mount the easy way, though, as I haven’t tackled Cheese Whip yet. I came to the same realization as you, that I would need a lot longer string, and wasn’t ready to make that leap. Yet. ---

Nice, I can do cheese whip with a shorter string now. But with a long string is a lot easier. ---

To my surprise I just landed horizontal Skin the Gerbil. Only been practising it shortly. Couldn’t manage to do it again right away though. ---

I’m actually working on my horizontal right now but it still needs a lot of work. I landed horizontal skin the gerbil about 2 times but that’s about it 😁 for now …… ---
