It’s true, I think I posted this before but I casually did a boing e boing while grocery shopping with my eh, can’t even pretend like that’s going to happen with my other fixies!

If we did not just finish doing our bathroom, I would… and don’t tempt me, as I may anyway… ahahaha. Wife would kill me… but I may…
I can land some sweet tricks already and can do some 1A tricks on this thing… Boing E, Matrix, Kwijibo, White Buddha and working on Black Hops.
VERY VERY tempted.

I’ve been messing around a little with 1a type tricks, but I’ve fallen in love with the stalls and regens and stuff. I can’t stop trying to learn more of them.

Flipped mine into imperial and been having a lot of fun with it today. Still great for stalls in this configuration.

I am doing well to do rock the baby and some picture tricks. How do you keep the fixie sleeping long enough to do these other tricks?

I’ve hit a boing e on my eh as well. And a double or nothing.
I’m trying to figure out how to get enough spin to pull off a gondola. Though I mostly loop and stall.

Have you seen any of Ed Haponik’s videos? He is the king of fixed. And hits stuff like this with his eyes closed (not really, but hits it consistently). He’s got a video of a spirit bomb on a 70 year old duncan throw!

Of course… the way SHE wanted… i liked it the way it was… anyway…
Sorry fellas, meant to type Buddha’s Revenge… not White Buddha, I can’t hit that on a bearing yoyo.
As for the sleep time, get your throws straight and throw hard. If you have the motions down and you hit them straight, you can hit many 1A advanced tricks.
Man, I wish we were all closer to each other… I’m sure we could have some bad \*\*\* competitions and some fun times.
I can’t hit spirit bomb on a bearing throw, will need to practice with the EH I guess.
Kwijibo is pretty easy… I also got this double or nothing stall, one unwind into a kick flip suicide that looks so sweet… gotta start making videos.
Guys, if you have videos you want to share, send them to me and I’ll put them up on the blog and FB page for “play simple”

I hit White Buddha on an Irving pro a few years back. It’s like Mcbride Roller Coaster, hard, but mainly due to length. The key with any long trick is to throw hard, keep things in line, and maintain a light touch.
