So, I’ve had this Swirly from Big Brother for a while now. I think I traded for it, and at first I know it was unresponsive. Soon after it started acting somewhat responsive. When it started, I opened it up and noticed that the silicone was damaged (I’ll include a picture if I can figure out how to). It took me years to finally start wondering if it is supposed to be responsive. Discontinued? Probably because the company went out of business. Responsive? I highly doubt it’s supposed to be responsive my friend, try replacing the pads/cleaning the bearing.
