I saw a topic about a swivel but I don’t know what that is. It would be awesome if you could help out.

everything is pretty much explained here: [Swivel Discussion. Now with Brand New Super Easy Pictorial!! Wee - General Yo-Yo - YoYoExpert](http://yoyoexpert.com/forums/index.php/topic,59524.0.html)

basically, it is a small swivel which is attached to the string. The swivel itself is made up of two separate pieces of metal, held together. They rotate freely from each other. This not only allows the string tension to always remain neutral, but a new style of play is also opened up, by pulling the string through the swivel
