Ten years after the release of sOMEThING’s very first yo-yo, the iconic [Superfly](https://shop.yoyoexpert.com/collections/new-releases/products/superfly-yoyo-by-something?variant=45096461140158) returns in its third generation—elevated in every way for the modern competitive stage.

Based on the foundation of the Superfly Remix, this new version brings a fresh evolution to the series while maintaining the DNA that made it a standout. The core shape remains familiar, but the play experience is entirely redefined. The latest [Superfly](https://shop.yoyoexpert.com/collections/new-releases/products/superfly-yoyo-by-something?variant=45096461140158) is lighter, faster, and more responsive—offering everything that makes a monometal yo-yo shine.

The performance gains are driven by a subtle yet intentional size balance. With a slim width under 43mm and a compact diameter for a full-sized throw, the [Superfly](https://shop.yoyoexpert.com/collections/new-releases/products/superfly-yoyo-by-something?variant=45096461140158) 3rd Gen delivers a sharp, accelerated feel that flows effortlessly through fast-paced combos. The reduced width also lessens arm fatigue during extended play, giving you speed and control without sacrificing stamina.

As described by its creators, this model is “more powerful and lighter,” packing impressive stability into a nimble frame. It’s easy to control, fast on the string, and sharp in execution—an ideal monometal for high-speed, technical freestyles.

Not only is this a long-anticipated update for longtime fans, but it also carries the spirit of sOMEThING—a new generation of designs built to shape the future of yo-yo performance. With improved accessibility and competition-ready specs, the [Superfly](https://shop.yoyoexpert.com/collections/new-releases/products/superfly-yoyo-by-something?variant=45096461140158) 3rd Gen is ready to inspire a whole new wave of players.
