# Super cheap yoyos?

Isn’t 6061 the grade itself? I mean it doesn’t matter if it’s made in China 6061 or made in Japan 6061 or whatever, it’s of the same grade, otherwise it wouldn’t be called 6061. Saying that there is a lower grade 6061 is like saying there is a 65 gram yoyo that is heavier than another 65 gram yoyo.
Also they actually used 6063, except for N10, N11, N12 which uses 6061-T6, as said by their representatives.
But let’s say they used a different ‘grade’, I don’t see it affecting play or durability, at least as far as I’m concerned.
I’m not challenging you, just confused.

6061 is the grade but the specifications are pretty loose for it so some companies put filler in the metal to stretch it out.

I thought that the 6061, 7075… all refer to the hardness of the material.
True, the actual alloy composition can vary greatly between manufacturers and runs.
Alloy compositions are typically specified as maximum limits rather than actual recipes which can be closely guarded secrets.

Now I might be rolling to the club after it closed on this one, but does anyone feel magic yo-yo lacks a bit of … sole (or something like it in there throws.) I have about five of them, and they are good, but they feel weirder. I have one that feels really close to a DV888, but it’s just feels wrong in the hand. Maybe I’m setting up a false expectation because of how I feel throwing the DV888, but it just feels to heavy and lands hard in the hand. I’ve also got my an n11, and whatever a magistrate is. With my magistrate I’ll say it is not really my kind of shape so I won’t critique it. But the n11 I had super high hopes for. I’m an over sized roundy lover. This looks like it was made for me, but it just feels wrong.

I’m not sure how to say it, but so much feels wrong in this area.
That being said though the t5 and n12 are two of my all time favorites.

Or, the Stealth which is 7075 + stainless, it’s not released yet I believe but since we have Magicyoyo Official here I can get it before release.
