# Sub standard kitty string

Anyone played with sub standard kitty? Is it closer to old school kitty? But the first class just isn’t the same.

What are you referring to as sub standard? Original? Have they said they will stop making the originals or something?

Original ones are no longer being made. I’m just interested in hearing if anyone has played with sub standard, which is their budget line of string.

Sub standard is budget kitty string made with cheaper materials. First Class is 30 dollars for a 100 pack, substandard is 20 dollars for a 100 pack because of the cheaper materials.
I haven’t tried it because I don’t want to spend 20 dollars for a string I don’t know if I’ll like. I’d rather just spend 10 extra dollars to get something I know I really like. If you’re not already a fan of first class then I guess it might be worth trying, so I’m just not the target audience for it.

what dont you like about first class? I like it way more than original kitty string, and the alphaline which i used for a long time too
