# Stripped Yoyo

So my yoyo stripped. Not the axel but the yoyo. It’s just the edges of the socket though, but the axel is short enough that it doesn’t reach the good threads anymore. Any ideas on how to save my Yoyo? It’s a C3 Token.

if you can find the size axle, you can pick a longer one up so it can reach those threads at your local hardware store. i used to buy yyj axles at ace hardware all the time and i’d assume they have the size you need.

Send it to Landon Balk (3Yo3 on these forums) and I believe is cost’s something like $20 to re-tapp it.

Try the axle first. $20 to fix the inside? Just buy a new Token for $28+$3 shipping.
