# Stripped axle on my sengoku

so i screwed up pretty badly, and stripped my sengoku shinobi’s threads. is there any way to fix it or should i buy a new one?

If it’s only one half that is stripped you can use loctite to secure the axle. You can always send it into a modder to get it retapped as well.

If you want to try a DIY;
JB Weld Epoxy.
The trick here is to “Grease” the axel because you dont want it to adhere to the YoYo half.
Mix the JB Weld and place a small amount into the Axel hole. Thread your Greased axel in, need to ensure correct alignment, clean off any excess and let dry.
If done correctly, the axel will unscrew out of the JB Weld, with the JB weld filling the inperfections in the Axel hole threads.
