# string thickness

i ordered a 5 pack of polyester string and another of slick 6 and when i got them i noticed that the slick 6 was thicker than the polyester. is this normal or did something go wrong with my order. ???

well they are made of different materials.  
polyester string (polyester)  
Slick 6(cotton/polyester blend)

it could also be how far a string is twisted. i found my homemade cottons a different from my others because i didnt twist it exactly the same on the string.
