# String Cutter

I picked up a B grade popstar and there are grooves near the bearing seat. The grooves cuts strings realllyyy quickly. Is there anything I can do about this?

Scotch Brite pad, rub the yo-yo a little bit on a piece of scotch brite on a flat surface, it will clean that up real quick.

I’ve had success with an 800-grit sandpaper pad. Rub it on the areas cutting the string until it feels smooth when you rub your finger across it.
