# String cut

the yoyo corrosion due to salt air, and the side of bearing seat getting this rough, and it start to cut the string of while i playing, what can i do?

I’d try to buff it with some steel wool or superfine sandpaper maybe?

Sand the area with the finest sand paper u can find. That will fix it.

Best bet for really fine sandpaper will be auto parts stores, hardware stores generally have up to 600 grit but you’ll want something north of a thousand grit probably. 1000-2000 grit is sold for bodywork stuff on cars.

Ehhh, I’d go wit the steel wool, either 300 or 400. Skip the sand paper unless you can get something 1000-3000 grit.

Yeah even a new scotch brite would work well too. Got to know about this after the reply
