# Sting slack

Im new to this site and i have been yoyoing for 4 months now but i was wondering if the slack has anything to do with the string. I have have a cotton string and the string tension is constantly a problem. Any suggestions on if a defferent kind of string would help?

The 100% Poly sold here at YYE is much better at holding tension. Cotton is generally only used for looping.
