Yes. Or, actually, the Ozora is easier to align and handles more in the way that i want it to than the pro-mod. It’s of course the landing and balancing that will be harder. Alot harder.

^^^ a lot harder… painted oozoras are suuuper slick. On a new one it’s hard balancing a lunar or lighthouse just using your hands let alone playing it. If it’s that much sticker then you’ll pretty much have to relearn the whole trick.

I think learning the mount, for lack of a better term, is fine on a sticky. I actually wish I had one, kind of. I think it’s a useful exercise to get the feel of the trick. Personally, though, I don’t know that I would feel like I really stomped it until I hit it on a JKA or maybe BKA certified dama.
