It (and the Star Chaser) are described a “H profile” elsewhere.
It seems overwhelmingly V-shaped to me, but I’ve seen so many shapes with a slight step in the profile called H. . .

hah yeah. I can see why it is technically an H Shape because of the design, but definitely more a V than an H, at least in my(story) book lol
regardless plays like a beast and funny it is right on with the D-Bearing trend even thoguh its an oldie, its a goodie! 😅

seems silly to still be using these letter descriptions in the first place as they convey very little info and the waters are so muddied anyway

Absolutely agree! I’ll make an effort to move away from those letter descriptions—especially with international companies where translations can add to the confusion. I’ll focus more on clear info about playability and specs instead!

I think the shape ambiguity is fairly harmless, especially when there is a good profile picture available (thank you YYE for always providing one).
At a glance, I would call this a V. Looking closely, I can see the step and also the curve above it. I don’t think either would win over a V skeptic, but they could definitely be relevant to a buyer (and the designer, certainly).
Edit to add: Calling it an H is why I noticed the details.
