# Spyy Orbitron 5000, what grade aluminum is it?

6061, or 7075? Anyone know for sure?

It’s gotta be 7075. But I admit, I do not know for sure. My experience tells me that it is 7075.

Yeah, the shine of the anno and the feel makes me think 7075, but I’ve never had a confirmation

The shine, but also the particular pinging sound it makes. I believe the walls feel thinner than you’d be able to do with 6061 as well, but that part I can’t confirm either. Would need calipers.
