I am stuck on a split bottom mount. When the yo-yo lands on the string it becomes tight over my finger.
Any suggestions? ??? 😛

When you’re about to mount the yoyo, try sliding your hands a bit closer together to get rid of some of that pulled tension. It should help the yoyo make the string “sink” when it lands instead of hitting and bouncing off.

Make sure you’re getting a really straight throw and landing correctly on the axis.

Also make sure that your string always has good tension.
