we are weeks away from seeing the monkey fist hit the streets…its sooooo going to be worth the wait y’all… the pros who throw the proto love it…i could name names but there sponsors might not like it…so, just know its gonna be a beast of a throw… ---

Hi everyone! Spin Dynamics newest throw, the Monkey Fist, will officially be released Sunday, April 1st at the Northeast Regional Yo-Yo contest. Online release at YoYoExpert will follow shortly after. This is an undersized throw with a strong focus on rim weight and stability. Despite clocking in at 68.8 grams, this yo-yo plays smoothly and floaty, and has a very unique feel on the string. A cool technique was used for doing the finish on this yo-yo. Just a question about the Monkey Fist. I was curious if the Glacier edition is Soda Blasted. I heard that some editions would be, but don’t know which. I got a Glacier Edition at NER, and really like it. I find it awkward how it is so strangely heavy for its small size, but I digress. It grinds very well, and would like to know its finish.
