wow my eyesight is terrible.
I actually thought i read spilled squid…i used to be able to thread a needle now i’m lucky if i can see string. Getting on in years is not good 🙂

Too much unsolicited information.
Probably very difficult trying to remove silicone from something if you fell asleep reading a book…
The other replies contain information easier to follow.
I mean, it’s not like you’re doing a silicone extraction from the seams of a nuclear vessel🤓.

Spilled flowable silicone will wipe off pretty easily with tissues if you get to it before it cures. Once it’s cured it’ll come off easily as well, but you might end up having to take everything out and try again if it’s stuck to the pads in the groove you poured in.

Then it’s probably best to just let it cure, and then peel it off.
