I have this beautiful Fireblast Wraith that I got on BST. But it had vibe from the first time I threw it. The previous owner said it was never dinged (and I believe him, since I don’t see any damage). So, I think it must have been a glitch or something. I’ve tried replacing the bearing a few times, but still cannot completely resolve the vibe. Maybe one of you “yoyo-whisperers” can fix it.. but I can’t. I would love to trade for another Wraith and I could add some cash to make it fair. Colorways I’m interested in are Unicorn Storm, Unicorn Splash, Fireblast, and maybe some others. Or I would take cash, starting it at $100 but open to offers. You can verify if it’s a glitch by looking at the bearing seat. If there is a drill mark in the bearing seat, it’s a glitch. Some G2 bimetal A grades may have a little vibe. ---

Yeah sit the yoyo on a book or something, put another on top, and stand on it. I think that’s the way to fix. It seems they may be susceptible to some shift in transit. I just sent a perfectly fine brass wraith to America and when it got there there was a 1mm gap between the body and rim! No idea why. Suspect it was due to temperature shifts. ---

I’d be iffy about putting my full weight on it right away, but I usually put my palms on it and push down real tight. Sometimes I just do it with my bare palm and you can go around and push and you feel it click into place… And if you want to know if it’s a glitch, unscrew it and look at the groove that the bearing goes into that’s right around the bearing seat. If it’s a glitch, they’ll be a little drill bit mark on each half in that area ---

Well, I tried everyone’s suggestions for fixing the possible ring drift. But the vibe just doesn’t seem much better. So, I’ll keep it listed here in case someone else wants to take a shot. If I can’t find a trade, I’ll accept cash offers. I understand nobody will pay full price lol. Anyway, thanks for all the suggestions! ---
