pulled out my avalanche after not playing it for a while and it felt snaggy as heck! i put brand new exec lite string on it so the string is def not grabby in and of itself. I’m pretty sure these are the gold snow tires and from what I’m gathering, they can be pretty grippy. am i right about that, and if so, if i can’t break them in to where i want, would clear or gray flowable be the next step in less grip?

If you want to use pads still, I recommend Summer Tires version of Snow Tires. They’re much thinner

I believe CLYW also do Summer Tires for response which should be less grippy and are also 21mm dia like the snow tires. The snow tires are very thick and protrude into the gap which is why they’re so grippy.

Flowable should work just fine though and will remove that ‘protruding into the gap’ issue if you don’t want to order summer tires.

Halfsies also work miracles. I run snow/summmer combo on Otter and Akita.

Or you could just use thinner string
