I got 2 yoyos with the same gap width but with each of those responses, the yoyoempire one binded a lot better while the other was slippy. Obviously there’s more to it than that, just my experience. I think the smaller diameter helps binds out a lot and let’s you go with a wider gap. ---

Alright. I had thought a wider pad with more surface area should bind better for the same gap. Just trying to understand more for my future designs. Which yo-yos are you using? ---

That is just my opinion! Honestly just going with what the shop has in stock is probably the best option tbh ---
