I had the same problems with the Ferris Wheel at the beginning…especially if I’m coming from a Lindy Loop (as in Skin the Gerbil). It only needs some practice. Meanwhile I do the Ferris wheel all the time without even thinking about it!  
So, keep practicing and I’m sure you’ll get it!
