I’ve come across the one in the middle before and had to look it up. I believe that one is auto-return. ---

Memory unlocked - never tried one but I remember seeing them at Walmart after the yoyo boom had passed. Yoyos were still semi available and a common sight to find at bigbox retailers, mainly Duncan. These popped up during the skateboard/extreme sports craze of the early 2000s. ---

I’m just really digging the concept and was curious if they were more playable than a rock on a string! Would you be comparing it to a rock on a string set up as responsive? Or OA rock set up as unresponsive? Also consider the shape of the rock A narrow puck shaped rock? Or a V shape rock? Or an H shaped rock? Or an M shaped rock? Or an organic shaped rock? Can you be a little more specific? ---

Ya I have a fakies yoyo. It is a cool collection piece but I personally don’t think it plays great. The gap is pretty big for a starburst response, so it mostly plays as an odd unresponsive. ---
