# Siliconing a YYF Velocity?

My adjustable black reponse systems broke. can i just remove it and just fill in the gap with silicone?

If I were you I would be careful about this… A velocity doesn’t have a regular recess… It has holes that lead to the dial which may or may not work anymore if silicone gets in there

I did it just fine. I put little pieces of tape over the holes so that silicone would not leak out. And poured in a LOT of silicone.

It plays just fine now.
