# Silicone groove in aluminum tooling

Hey all,

I was wondering if you guys could help me with a lathe tooling question. I’ve been trying to cut silicone grooves in aluminum, but I keep getting chatter with every kind of tool shape I’ve tried.

Any suggestions? Pictures of your tool?
