# Silicone gasket maker recs needed

So I used to live in the EU and got used to Arexons Motorsil D silicone gasket maker, which I found to be better than normal Permatex flowable silicone because it is more durable and never falls out. It looks like this:
Unfortunately, Motorsil D is not readily available in the US. ☹
I tried this from Permatex, which I thought would be equivalent but it doesn’t flow…
It was hard to install and the result was a lumpy response. Needs more flow to self-level.
Any recommendations for a good gasket maker for response that is available in the US?

In Canada we can get this. I am pretty sure you can get it in the US

Not sure about its use in this situation, as I have never grown enough cojones to try it, but this is readily available at most Ace locations, so I would assume Home Depot and Lowe’s would carry it, also automotive stores like O’Reilly and AutoZone.

Yes thanks, I mentioned flowable, which is fine but my second choice compared to the stronger more durable Motorsil D 💪
Permatex flowable is indeed widely available in the US, including here on YYE:

I have seen this brand too. Never tried it though.
