If you can already do a whipping bind for fingerspins, it’s just the same thing. Whip toward the yoyo and as the string is about to bind you position your throwhand directly over the yoyo at a sufficient elevation to create light tension. Move your throwhand up or down (or up and down!) to modify the “sine wave” shape of the rejecting string. It’s just a timing thing. Moving your hand above the spinning yoyo at the moment right when the string is about to grab for the bind. ---
