# Shutter/ND finishes

Does anyone know if whether all yyf shutters or NDs have a grindable finish?

The **matte aqua** Shutter has a blasted finish which is presumably better for grinds than the standard shiny finish on all the other Shutters.

I know that, but I’ve been thinking about getting a fade or something. Keep it interesting. I saw a video from like a year ago which had gentry showing some grindable yoyos. I was wondering if it’s still the same.

pretty much all yyf metals have a finish for grinding, even the regular anno ones.

The ND is wonderful for finger grinds. The shape and finish work well together for it. I have the b grade aqua and it looks shiny but it’s been surface treated more than it looks.
