Not sure if it’s the same in the states but here it just seams to be be the colour. In my case Green. Wanted to make something for counterweight fixed play, (or at least want I think would make a good one. What is the difference between a regular fixed axle design and one that would be good with a counterweight? I just strung up my first counterweight yo-yo last week, so I’m a complete novice. ---

I don’t really know for sure, but my guess is high walls, large diameter and fairly thin. I could be totally off though. ---

I’d actually prefer a wider catch zone to higher walls. If you could somehow do both though that would be ideal though. This is speaking from not having tried a ton of fixies and responsives, but anything with a more tapered catch zone at the top is much easier to play. Also a metal axle that wouldn’t snap on hard impacts. I think if anything durability is my biggest desire since I’ve snapped wood axles playing fixie 5A. ---

Thanks, mate. I only use basic M4 hex nuts from the hardware store. They are very light, so they add very little weight to the yoyo. ---
