In anticipation of a nickel firecracker that I have in the mail, I’m looking forward to seeing how it ages. This is a thread for people who have patina’d copper, nickel, ECT. Maybe you have an old copper soup pot. Post that! As a rule: this is not the place for people to message other forum members to ask them to sell it to them. No longer grinds like it used to, which I’m sad about. I have not had a string on this one in a while. I bought it cleaned it to a bright shine played with it for months with freshly washed hands to try and get only a hand oil and string wear you can see the string wear on the patina the rest smooth and milky, the untouched cups have only become a burn darker bright patina the contrast is shocking, just love the way the Cu changes. a black Nickel Parlay will be my next serious investment as close to un damaged as possible. ---
