i mastered all beginer tricks, all intermiterate tricks and about half advanced part 1, some off string, and some counter weight. (i have been yoyoing for about 1 month) ---

I would take a look the northstar and/or dv888 both are great and super smooth imo ---

I think you are making great progress! But for those yoyos i would say 1 month is a little too soon for 888 id maybe get g5 but probobly either a dv888 or a protostar. i hate when people like you try to get expensive yoyos you dont need , and look like noobs because you cant bind with a more unresponsive yoyo and then you start saying you need help with binds ---

hate is a strong word. but seriously you need to be in the hobby more before you go for the $100’s. i would say if you want to get a metal, go for a yoyofactory fundaMETAL. that is any yoyo factory ending with an “ick” like tactic, chaotic, lunatic, or hectic, and also the DV888. or you can try another company like recrev, who has cheep, wonderful metal yoyos. or you could try a derlin yoyo like a half and half or something else from crucial. but the only thing that those two yoyos have in common is hubstacks, and you have a grind machine. ---

The Electric Daisy and Yuuksta are pretty good 1st metals. You don’t even need a 888x because the any other yoyo can do what it can do. ---

It’s not your place to decide how much someone should spend on yoyos. Some people have a bigger budgets than others, so they’re willing to spend more. Certain yoyos may be easier to use. However, more expensive does not automatically mean better. For sleep-time, I’d pick a stack-less yoyo, which usually costs less than a stacked yoyo. I don’t like z-stacks, so I’d pick a yoyo with regular or no stacks. I’d pick g5 if you can get the one with regular stacks. You should also consider yuuksta, superstar, and genesis. ---

Haha, well, depends…do you want the 888x and G5? It’s all up to you. If you just started and have the DM2 and PGM, i would hold back on those metals. Maybe a Protostar or Northstar for sure. Those play just like metals, but aren’t the costly price. But, in the end it’s all up to you if you want those.
