# SFX vs Protostar vs NorthStar

I've recently got some money to get a new plastic, and at first i thought i was going to get an SFX because I tried my friends and it is good, but I've read some reviews and I think I might get the protostar or northstar. I like string tricks and whips mostly, plus a yoyo with a good sleep time.

I recommend the SFX because it has stronger material, but Northstars play better, in my opinion. Although, Northstars may crack easily. So, SFX might be the “better” yoyo.

what do you like in yoyo? shape, size, weight, speed, etc etc. Unless you can answer what you find most enjoyable yoyo, we will have a harder time telling you what you will like most.

I got my Northstar in the mail yesterday and frankly haven’t been able to put it down since. I was _very_ surprised at how well it played for the price. I was not expecting it to be one of my top throws, but it definitely is, and thus it gets my vote.

i would get a sfx its amazing for the price
