Are you saying you want to work in a screen printing shop? Or are you saying you want to do it at home? If you’re talking about making them at home, are you saying you want to make them for yourself? Or you’re trying to turn this into a business? There are several fairly simple ways to make shirts for yourself, but if you’re talking about creating a screen printing business out of your house, that’s going to require a decent investment in equipment to start. Just some of the things you’d need: ink, screens, emulsion, a good printer and vellum, LED vacuum emulsion exposer unit (though I think there are home remedies for this), cleaning supplies like ink remover, emulsion remover, dehazer, and mineral spirits, a power washer and area to clean screens, and a screen printing station (which you can get smaller ones for a few hundred I think). The really tricky and expensive thing to deal with is curing the ink. If you want to do this as a business, you dont want to be trying to cure ink with a heat gun or something, you want a conveyor oven. Basically, curing the ink requires the ink to be at around 320°F for around 10-20 seconds. Over-curing can cause the ink to crack after washing, and under-curing can cause to come off after washing. All in all, you’re probably talking in the area of a few thousand dollar investment to get started from the ground up. Edit: My source for the info is having used to work in a screen print shop ---

I never had the pleasure of using an auto press, though I’ve seen them at other shops, and holy crap are they nice. Edit: And by the looks of the press you want to get, you want to do multiple colors, so you could probably forego an actual conveyor oven, and just use you a flash dryer to also cure the ink when you’re done with it. Maybe @saber could weigh in if that would work or not? ---
