I just had a bad day today… somehow the string fell of my finger during a trick, and I dropped my M1 when taking it out. On concrete. :-[ Some of the hits affect grinds, so I’m wondering, if I want to, how to satin an M1. Starting from what grit… wet or not… and will anything go wrong?

Nope. It’s probably easier with metal because it won’t light on fire or anything if it gets too hot. Ok it will, but not at temperatures you’re dealing with here.
