# Rosin on plastic yoyos

I know old-school players on wooden yoyos would put rosin on the string to make it more responsive. Have any of you ever tried this on a plastic ball bearing yoyo? Rosin is soluble in alcohol so I’m not worried about rosin getting in the bearing. Idk about the plastics health. Was thinking of getting some to try on the string as well as try on the walls. Any thoughts?

Wouldnt a Drop of thin or thick lube into the bearing accomplish the same outcome your looking for?
On wood Fixies, Bees Wax works well.
