I’ve been giving it a lot of thought. Delrin No Jive Compatible was a placeholder but I hadn’t thought of a good name yet. It’s a huge mouthful though. Well about a week and a half ago my best buddy pup passed away. I’m still a wreck about it. His name was Gandalf but I don’t have it in me to license a LOTR name like Mark so impressively did. So I’m going to call this The G to honor him. I LOVE the G. A great many moons ago when I was in the Army, my unit was on a field exercise on a dry lakebed near Aviano Italy. Being a low ranking enlisted soldier as I was, it was my duty to work in the kitchen for a day. The sergeant from the kitchen staff who wrangled us around all day called every last one of us “G-Dawg” all day. “Ay-yo G-Dawg… go wash dishes!!” “Ay-yo G-Dawg… clean that table!!” So I have literally considered myself to have been dubbed “G-Dawg” ever since. So as a properly appointed G-Dawg… I wholeheartedly endorse The G!! ---

A little too close, possibly license impeding - G the White A little safer - White G I’m also down for the following in a more direct reference/honor of the throw’s namesake: - The G-Dawg - The G-Dog (This isn’t to say that I also fully endorse “The G” in any way, shape, or form) ---

I used ‘the White’ as an example, specifically because of the native delrin color, but any color will do. Felt a bit silly to make a whole list of the same name, but with different colors ---

They’re heeeere. Had to interrupt QA time to go to the docs. Hit 9 stalls in a row while waiting which for me who rarely gets to practice due to disability is just downright ridiculous. Loving it so far. You don’t need a licence from Nickelodeon to call something ‘Wanda’, or from Marvel to call something ‘Thor’. You are correct that I would be in the right but that rarely stops anybody and I don’t really want to waste money on a lawyer if the decide to be pushy so I figured I would save myself the trouble. I don’t know how litigious they are. ---

I’ve been eyeing my shops plating options and will be trying them out sometime. They have a lot of cool options. Gold plating for a production run isn’t too expensive of add on honestly, but prototypes done with gold plated are expensive, so I haven’t tried it yet. ---

Easy and stress free is a good stance to take. No real need to become notable in any way unless that’s your goal. However for the make cool things and run mostly profit neutral concept of a business the knock off naming angle honestly fits the theme even better. Do be careful with G remember G2 got a nice lawyer letter from yoyo factory when Jake was smaller just cause they didn’t like the branding competed with their yoyo named similarly. I don’t think they had a leg to stand on but still litigations where had. (I’ll note being sued by yyf would actually make return bottoms even cooler imho) ---
