# Responsive yoyo acting unreliable (fixed)

My responsive yoyo sometimes doesn’t come up when tugged , but bind works everytime.How can I make it more responsive or less responsive so I can use it reliably?

The bearing probably needs lube or you could try a thicker string but I would lube the bearing if you haven’t done that yet. I just use Vaseline for my non-looping responsive yo-yos. You can also look up thick Yoyo lube

Changing to a thicker string fixed the issue, I might also try lubing if I can get my hands on one.
