Glad it worked out for you! Just so ya know, you can use soap and water in place of lighter fluid, just be sure to immediately dry out the bearing. ---

I’ve always had the issue of a bearing damaging the shim on the bearing seat, so it comes from personal experience, although I am probably tightening the yoyos too much lol ---

To start this again, just dropped a 10 ball in my rally (bought BST) and the previous owner of course didn’t send the original. With a buddha wipple the throw was LOUD, rattly… 10 ball, pretty quiet throw now. Cleaned both bearings, the 10 ball just sits better therefore spins better. ---

Rally from BST didn’t come with original bearing (some kind of grooved concave instead) so I bought a couple of 10-balls at MA States and man they make the Rally smooth and silent even fresh out of the bag. I’m sure it’ll need cleaning at some point if the posts here are anything to go by, but right now it feels perfect in this yo-yo. ---

There have in fact been periods of time in which people have lit their bearings on fire. :wink: I do not recommend this… just saying that people have done crazier things than clean their bearings with a variety of solvents! ---

Yep, don’t burn the solvent off the bearings. It ruins them. I got a yoyo in trade once that the guy did that to. Had to replace the bearing. ---

Ten balls are infamous for their break in period, if its dirt in the bearing its no the bearings fault. ---
