# Removing alluminum side caps from raptor

Any suggestions on removing alluminum finger spin sidecaps from Duncan Raptor that doesn’t involve drilling a hole. I put them on now I can’t get them off. I’ve looked everywhere but no help only videos for other yoyos with techniques that I’m unable to try on the Raptor. I’ve also tried gorilla duct tape but no luck

I did this technique with my [MKT](https://shop.yoyoexpert.com/products/mkt-yoyo-by-duncan?_pos=1&_sid=fad22213b&_ss=r&variant=13600193937482) and It did damage some ano on the rim. Might try putting it in the freezer first for a while and that may help, or just live with them on there.
