# Recessing a yoyo

how do you recess a throw ???, what does it do ???, and what does it mean ??? Thanks!

A recess is when you assault a yoyo with pad response and gouge out a recesss that you then cram with silicone. ;D A way to do it would be to mount it to a drill and then take a very sharp piece of metal to the plastic and gouge out the plastic. I do not advise this unless you want to try to break my record (2 freehand zeros broken and 2 Flying squirrels broken). Just send it to a modder and they will do it for around $10-$15 on a lathe.
