Hello ladies and gentlemen. I remember reading about a similar problem on a thread, but I can’t find it. One of my RBCs is notably less responsive than it used to be. I’ve tried thick lube, which helps for a little while, then it goes back to being rather unresponsive quickly. I probably have only 10 hours of usage on this one. Any suggestions on what I can try to get the snappiness back? Any help would be appreciated. Love these RBCs, they are such great throws! ---

Sorry this is happening! Have you takes one or both of the shields off before applying the lube? I took one sheild off with one of mine, applied a drip of thin lube and its been way more responsive ever since. ---

Try wiping the pads with a little alcohol to clean the surface. ---

What Hojo-YoYo said, alcohol wipe down fixed my issue. That and maybe replace your string? I’m using BadWolfe Goldilocks Sliccs and they are probably on the edge of too responsive. ---

Give it a tiny little tighten, not crank. I remember this being a fix ---

I tried all the suggestions, cleaning pads, thin oil directly on the bearing, changing strings and tightening it a bit more. Definitely seemed to have helped. Thanks for the help!
