Hey guys, I have been working on Rancid Milk this week and I am having trouble with  second to last part.  When I pop the yoyo up and grab the string with my freehand thumb. Been using your tutorial to learn this trick. Super helpful! One question though… at the part after you revolve the NTH around the throw hand, and then you undercut (?) the yoyo with your NTH, I can’t seem to slow your video down enough to see what’s happening. 2:22 for reference. ---

Swing the yo around and land it on all the strings, this takes a twist out and prepares the setup for opening the exit in the next step. You see he’s changing how his strings over his NTH index are positioned when he does that undercut. You can also see that there’s two different ways to kinda do it too, one you kinda pinch with your thumb a bit and slip your finger in from the side and then you’re just hopping the yo over your finger as you push your finger into the lower string .but at around 2:26, you can see the other way, to slip the string around your NTH index as your bring the formation around and then do the undercut. Bro idk why they are allergic to using a pov angle 😭, and like THEY’RE SO CLOSE TOO!!! But they have it faced the wrong way like, bro don’t make me reverse it all in my head just rotate the video 180° sideways 😭 ---

Just a small thing I thought I should note about this: instead of rejecting the string on your TH thumb, Spencer actually pops the yoyo up and plucks it with his NTH thumb before letting it go ---

I can also help you with that if you want. One of my favorite tricks. If you could record yourself doing it, happy to help! Also, minor quibbles but Charles drops the mount at the end. In the real Spencer version he pops out to trapeze at the end, which is more dynamic looking and more fun to do IMO. ---
