# Race to 500 eli hops.

Rules:
1. Race starts when [Current Local Time in New York, New York, USA](http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/city.html?n=179) hits 6:30 PM.
2. First person to post “done” after completing 500 eli hops wins.
3. String length must be more than 39 inches.
4. Hands must touch.
5. You do NOT have to do 500 CONSECUTIVE eli hops.
6. You are not allowed to find loopholes in the rules.
The rules are based on the honor system, which should work well since there is no prize involved(except bragging rights).
Remember - Race begins when [Current Local Time in New York, New York, USA](http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/city.html?n=179) hits 6:30 PM.
