Hey guys what have you found to be the best way to remove response pads cleanly? Getting all of the sticky residue out of the slot with a pocket knife is a pain. ---

I use my string pick (leather needle) and poke it in to pry them out. Only newish ones will come out cleanly. Ones that have been in for a while will likely leave that gummy residue behind. thats when i grab some qtips and some 90% isopropyl and squeak it clean. ---

I use lighter fluid to remove the residue. Works nice, just like for cleaning bearings. ---
