# Proper Lube's for Unresponsive Bearings?

I’ve had this bottle of thin lube for 5 years, while it may not last 50 more years, I would comfortably say lube isn’t the part of the yoyo hobby that will break the bank. Maybe 2-3 bottles of lube for life, if you start as a kid, live to 90, and do a lot of yoyo maintenance.
My suggestion is when you are new to a forum, before telling others to “think a little” you may want to take the time to learn a little about the topic

If you’re buying lube there, you’re paying too much. A quick survey at YoYoExpert ([https://shop.yoyoexpert.com/](https://shop.yoyoexpert.com/)), the sponsor of this forum shows most any other lube at $5 or less. (yes dark matter is $8, but everything else is less). As noted, all of these will last a LOONNNGGG time.
